It's REALLY EASY to custom order your new Ford vehicle at Metro Ford!  You can do it online, over the phone or in person -- whatever works for you.  After you customize your new Ford vehicle using Ford's Build & Price Tool, we place your order with the highest priority!  Ordering wait times have come down dramatically over the last few months and in most cases, they are almost back to pre-pandemic levels.

Here's a list of frequently asked questions (FAQS) that may help you understand how easy it is to order your new Ford at Metro Ford:

HOW LONG WILL MY ORDER TAKE?

Order delivery times vary depending on which model you order.  In the case of (non-PHEV/BEV) F-150, Edge, Explorer, Bronco Sport, Expedition, Escape and Mustang, average timing is 3-4 months.  In the case of Mach-E, Maverick, Ranger and Super Duty, timing is around the 6 month mark.  Super Duty, Bronco, Transit, Transit Connect and all BEV/HEV/PHEV have longer wait times due to supply chain issues; expected delivery times on these units are at least 6 months and can take up to 1 year or more.

WHY DO I HAVE TO GIVE A DEPOSIT TO ORDER A VEHICLE?

Ford Dealers like ours are allocated a small and specific number of vehicles each month by Ford.  Your order comes out of that small allocation, and that of course reduces our ability to supply vehicles to everyone once our allocation is used up.  Your deposit guarantees that you will in fact receive your new vehicle that we won't be left with customized orders from other people to sell on the lot.

IS MY DEPOSIT REFUNDABLE?

Yes!  Don't worry!  Your $1000 deposit is fully refundable for 7 days after the order date.  After 7 days, your order is locked, and the vehicle will be processed and prepared for production.  After that 7-day mark, your deposit becomes non-refundable.

HOW CAN I TRACK MY ORDER?

At any time, you can always give us a call to check on the status of your order!  If you would rather, you can easily do it yourself!  Ford's vehicle tracking page gives you up to date information about the status of your order!

CAN I MAKE CHANGES TO MY ORDER ONCE I PLACE IT?

Ford does allow minor changes after your order is placed but there is never a 100% guarantee that those changes will be made.  It is best to make sure your order is correct at order time to avoid disappointment, but we will do everything in our power to make sure your order is perfect!

WILL I HAVE TO PAY MORE WHEN I TAKE DELIVERY IF THE PRICE AND INTEREST RATE INCREASE ON MY NEW FORD WHILE I AM WAITING?

Absolutely not!  Your price and interest rate are LOCKED IN at order time so there's no need to worry about paying more or paying higher rates!  If the interest rate decreases or the incentives improve over the time it takes to get your new Ford, you always get the best scenario -- guaranteed!
